I Shot a Lot is both a statement and a projecting wish to encourage me to continue documenting the visuals of life. As the demands of existing increase, a parade of excuses marches forth to provide cover from creative desires. As jobs and houses and family become more important, the simple act of snapping a photo becomes less and less logically relevant. As communication methods become more saturated, we connect less.
Here I hope that when my time finally comes, I might be able to look back at a life full of moments big and small and say, “I shot a lot.”
I am James. I am 32 33 years old. I have a wife and two dogs. I live just outside of Washington DC and my day job has me providing services for an agency of the federal government on a contractual basis.
